Daily Reflections!

Today I worked on studying Geometry for the Semester 2. But when I study I cannot focus because I find it quite boring, so i did not get as far as I wold have liked too.

Presentation day!

This morning was when Connor, Nathan and I presented our project. We had a lot of technical difficulties that led us to not being able to present our News Cast that would lead up to our final product which was a website. I felt that we did a very good job with pulling ourselves together for the parents because we had to change our game plan and just introduce it normally. Everyone seemed to enjoy it but I am very disappointed that it didn't work like we wanted to. I feel that it was still a very good experience because we learned that we will fail and just how to pull it together and do the best that we can.

GOAL!

Today I have big goals for myself. I have a geometry quiz, a chemistry oral and a chemistry module test. I am really hoping to get these three things accomplished. So...we shall see.

the last block...

The last block was a 6 because I made progress but I could have done better. I got half of a geometry done and I studied for algebra.

I think that I was more successful in the morning when we first got here and then in the one after brain break. I think that this was because I am more focused in the morning because as the day goes along I start thinking about the other things that are going to happen after school and in the week.

And another rating of myself...

Well...this block was better. I got a geometry done and studied some Algebra but I also helped Hunter with Chemistry and talked. lol. So..i would give myself a 7 because I could have studied more but i think that i did well.

Well...

This morning was not that productive....I went back into Geometry and read over 5.05 lesson and did three questions in the quiz thing that follows the lesson. This does not seem productive which it really isn't but I don't have that much to do today.

2011!!!

I think that being self directed means being in control of your own learning. Setting your own goals, being your own motivator, and learning how you want to learn.

Daily Goal: I want to get one geometry done and study for Algebra preparing for the last module test in Algebra.
